Active Like Aliphine
Running and exercise are important tools for building a strong body, but they’re just as important for building a strong mind. The world can sometimes feel like a confusing place, so it’s important to take time for ourselves.
As we come together for justice to make a meaningful change in the world, we need to ensure we are all as strong as possible. That’s why we are kicking things off with some at-home activities with Aliphine Tuliamuk, the 2020 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials champion!
Next year, Aliphine, along with her teammate Sally Kipyego, will make history by becoming the first Black woman to represent the USA at the Olympic Marathon! Aliphine will lead us in a fun workout session to help clear our minds, reflect on what is most important to us right now, and get us ready to stand strong in support of Black lives!
We’ll start with some dynamic stretching in If, Then. Then join Aliphine in In Between Laps, All Aboard, and Rock, Paper, Scissors, Body Language. Finish with a round of Partner Cool-Down and do not forget to hydrate.
