The racial injustices that the Black community experiences, based on the color of their skin, are not uncommon. These racial barriers have been a part of our society for centuries. It's time to come together to tear those barriers down in order to build a better tomorrow. Black Lives Matter!

For the second activity, we invite you to join together with other Rising New York Road Runners from across the country and stand with us in solidarity against racism to support Black lives.

Now it’s your turn to share why you believe Black Lives Matter. Make a sign and share it with your families, friends, and teachers to spark a conversation about race and justice.

Display your sign proudly on your fridge or in your window, or even wear it like a race bib on your next run! Don’t forget to have your parents or teachers share your sign with us on the Rising New York Road Runners Facebook group.
