Tanya Graham

  • Group Training

For almost three years, Tanya fell ill to an undiagnosed illness that caused her to walk with a cane. She embarked on a journey to improve her health and fitness but faced challenges finding time for the gym. Running became her chosen solution, starting with running one block and walking the next. Over time, her passion for recovery and regaining mobility grew stronger. Setting their sights on running a marathon, it became a bucket list item and a marker of pushing their limits and achieving remarkable feats. Seeking accountability and support, she made the decision to join NYRR Group Training, and since then, she has never looked back.

How would you describe your coaching style?
I am a firm believer in incorporating holistic and positive coaching methods. I like to guide individuals or teams in setting meaningful goals that align with their values and aspirations, both personally and professionally. Through self-awareness and reflection, I help them discover their strengths, passions, and areas for growth. I create a safe and supportive environment for open dialogue, active listening, and understanding.

What is your proudest coaching moment?
I had a truly unforgettable experience when I was honored with the prestigious title of NYRR Team for Kids Mentor of the Year. It is not only an achievement in itself but also a testament to the meaningful connections, positive transformations, and lasting contributions I have had the privilege to be a part of. It serves as a reminder of the profound difference that can be made through genuine mentorship, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue making a positive impact in the lives of those I have the honor to guide.
