Steve Landis
Running since 1988, Steve still remembers the fear and trepidation of trying to complete his first 2-mile race. Since then, he’s completed 10 New York City Marathons and countless other shorter distances, as well as a biathlon and a triathlon (the swim did not go well). He started ultras with the Burning Man 50K and got hooked. He’s done 50Ks, 6-hour races, a 100K, a 24-hour (101 miles), a 72-hour (172 miles), and a 500K across Tennessee. Steve is an RRCA Level-1 certified run coach and will try to convince you that it’s easier to run an ultra than a marathon. Bottom line— you can do more than you realize.
