Stephanie Herrick
Stephanie Herrick discovered running in high school and hasn't stopped competing since. She began coaching at the high school level right after college graduation. After a few years of personal training and coaching, she began working with New York Road Runners’ youth programs. This work allows her to share the sport that brought so much to her life with youth and their teachers all around the country in hopes they discover the same love for it.

How would you describe your coaching style?
For kids it's all about enjoyment. Teaching them to love to learn to move and having fun doing it.
For adults it's getting to know each athlete individually and designing the training to allow them to get the most out of themselves for where they are at that moment and making sure they are enjoying it.
What is your proudest coaching moment?
I had an athlete who was enjoying the process of training for a big race and they hit their goal while going through a difficult time personally.
