How would you describe your coaching style?
An "aim high" mindset, passionate, and empowering.
What is your proudest coaching moment?
When a high school athlete I was helping to coach won a borough championship, and being accepted to a D1 scholarship.
What is your favorite workout to coach and why?
In high school, I enjoyed coaching a continuous 4-mile tempo in the following breakdown: 1 mile on track (80-90% effort), 1 mile out, and 1 mile back at a moderate pace (not as slow as recovery pace and not as fast as a hard effort where runners usually did a minute slower than the first mile ). They finished with one more mile at a hard effort to end on the track. I love this workout during cross country season because it mirrors a cross country race, as races tend to start out fast, ease off the pace, and end at a very hard pace.
