  • Group Training

Sarah’s running journey began at age 21, during her first year working as a teacher at a public high school in New York City. It started with 2, 3, and 4 miles along the East River. Then single-digit runs turned into double digits over the coming years. She ran her first half marathon in 2013 at age 26 and learned the bridges of NYC are some of the best hills to train on. Sarah has since run 7 marathons—5 New York City Marathons and Los Angeles Marathon, and Boston Marathon. She hopes to run an ultra-marathon in the coming years.

As an active member of the NYRR community for over 12 years, she has participated in 58 races and is also a member of the NYRR Pace Team.
