Nomi’s journey began with a cold 10K race in Central Park back in January 2016. She was hooked, and the love for running led her to become a coach. Helping others is her greatest joy, and she aspires to inspire through her own running odyssey. How would you describe your coaching style?
My coaching philosophy centers on foundational development, motivating individuals to establish a strong base. Through consistent encouragement, I empower them to overcome challenges and celebrate their successes.
What is your proudest coaching moment?
Bringing smiles, motivation, and support to runners every day reflects the profound impact I have as a coach. Being a source of inspiration and helping individuals pursue their running dreams, regardless of size.
What is your favorite workout to coach and why?
My favorite workout is a tempo run. It’s an effective workout for building both physical and mental strength, helping runners improve their lactate threshold and overall pace. The sustained effort at a comfortably hard pace can simulate race conditions and enhance endurance.
