Myna Majors
Myrna has coached the Harlem Striders for approximately six years and has had wonderful experience coaching and encouraging them. Her running experience dates back to winning the PSAL Master Championship 800m, numerous cross country meets, 5Ks, and 10Ks. Before retiring from The NYS Parole she ran numerous half marathon relays. She enjoys running, power walking, and most of all coaching and sharing her experience with the NYRR Striders. Myna says it’s a wonderful place to make new friends and to improve mental and physical well-being.

When an NYRR Strider shared with me what a positive impact the program had on their life. They thanked me for the encouragement and for not giving up on them.

Low to moderate intensity. Leave no one behind!
