How would you describe your coaching style?
I emphasize both physical and mental training with runners. I believe in continual learning as a key to success and encourage runners to build confidence and control over their own training.
What is your proudest coaching moment?
I love the little moments: Helping runners visualize success, stay positive even when things don't go as planned, and give themselves credit for their effort.
What is your favorite workout to coach and why?
One of my favorite workouts is an interval ladder, combining different distances and effort levels. The ladder is a great opportunity to practice pacing, gear-shifting, and mental toughness.
