The RBC Brooklyn Half, a race like no other, is a tour through the Borough of Kings, from Prospect Park to the Coney Island boardwalk. You’ll experience the magic of being a part of one of the largest half marathons in the U.S. at this iconic event that kicked off in 1981.

A Course and Finish Like No Other

The RBC Brooklyn Half has an amazing course through NYC’s most populous borough. The route starts at the Brooklyn Museum, circles Grand Army Plaza, loops through Prospect Park, and heads down Ocean Parkway to the best part of all: a one-of-a-kind finish on the Coney Island boardwalk where the festivities continue all day.

The RBC Brooklyn Half Pre-Party Presented by New Balance kicks off race week. It’s a great venue for runners to pick up their race materials and stay for authentic Brooklyn food from local vendors, live music, fun activities, and shopping for official RBC Brooklyn Half New Balance gear.

The History Is Deep

Youth runners ages 2–18 can run in Coney Island too near the RBC Brooklyn Half finish line with short dashes and mile-long races that give young athletes a chance to join in on the race-day fun! Stay tuned for more information about how to register.
