10 Reasons to Volunteer at the RBC Brooklyn Half
The RBC Brooklyn Half is back! After two years as a virtual-only event, thousands of runners will return to the streets of Brooklyn on May 21, finishing on the Coney Island boardwalk.
If you’re not running but still want to be part of this extraordinary race—celebrating its 40th running this year—you can experience everything Brooklyn has to offer by volunteering.
As we celebrate Volunteer Appreciation Month in April, here are 10 reasons to volunteer at the RBC Brooklyn Half next month—sign up now!
Earn Entry to the 2023 RBC Brooklyn Half
All volunteers who complete their race-day or race-week role will receive non-complimentary guaranteed entry to next year's race—you won’t have to apply to the drawing and you’ll be cruising through the Borough of Kings in spring 2023.
Get Great Swag
All volunteers will receive a special RBC Brooklyn Half branded trucker hat to commemorate the race and celebrate their experience as a volunteer with a stylish souvenir, and all pre-party volunteers will get a T-shirt.
Help Runners Reach Their Goals
There is nothing like the feeling of helping others achieve something special. Completing the RBC Brooklyn Half is major accomplishment and you’ll be an integral part of making dreams come true for thousands of runners.
