It's National Pizza Day! Help Our Rising New York Road Runners Celebrate

Over the first three months of this year, our Rising New York Road Runners students are taking part in our Holiday Hoopla Virtual Challenge, in which they celebrate a different national or international holiday nearly every day of the month by taking part in a fitness activity themed around that day.

In case you haven't checked your calendar, today, Tuesday, February 9, is a very important day—not just in New York City, but around the country—for, you see, it's National Pizza Day. Pizza is so embedded in New York City culture, it brought about a theory that as the price of a subway ride has gone up, so too has the price of a plain slice.

Although some skip the subway ride and take their slices on the run.

Our Rising New York Road Runners students are taking part in today's celebration by checking off their fitness activity for the day, but they need your help to make their National Pizza Day complete. They need to know: Where's the best spot to find a slice around here?

We've polled some NYRR staffers to get some ideas going—and you can check out their recommendations on the map below—but we want your input, too. Fill out the form below the map to send in your best slice spot, and we'll add it in to our map! From every small dollar slice counter to every big brick-oven ristorante, all are welcome here.
