Bib Pickup
Bib pickup will close 10 minutes after the start time of the race. The start time of each race is listed on the event page. Runners arriving to pick up their bib after that time will not be issued a bib and will not receive 9+1 credit for the race.
Start
The start line will remain open for 20 minutes after the starting horn. After that time, runners who start late will not receive a net time; instead, their time will be recorded from the starting horn.
Finish
The finish line will close at a 20-minute-per-mile pace, plus the 20 minutes that the start remains open. Those finishing after that time will receive 9+1 credit for the race but will not be included in the results.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is this policy being implemented?
NYRR is implementing this policy to be consistent across all our races and to set the expectation for our runners, volunteers, staff, and the greater NYC community of the time we are utilizing the parks and sharing the space with other parkgoers.
What if I am still on the course after the finish time cutoff?
NYRR will still provide medical support and some amenities to those on the course after the finish time cutoff. Even if you finish the course after the cutoff time, 9+1 credit will still be granted.
If I start after the cutoff time, will I still receive 9+1 credit?
Yes. If you start the race after the 20-minute start cutoff, you will get a gun time and still be included in the race results, as well as receive 9+1 credit.
