Volunteer Opportunities

This opportunity is reserved for those in our Leadership Volunteer program ONLY. Do not sign up for this opportunity if you are not in the program, you will be declined. This is NOT a +1 eligible volunteer opportunity.

Do not register for this volunteer opportunity if you are registered to run the race. Your volunteer opportunity will be declined. Volunteers will assist with the collection and organization of athlete baggage. After the athlete completes the race, the volunteers will return the runners bag to them, checking to match the bib number with the bag tag. Many of our volunteer opportunities require standing for a prolonged period of time. Volunteers will act as representatives for NYRR, assisting with athlete lines, answering athlete questions and directing runners around race day central. Some ambassadors may be asked to assist with photo opportunities at the festival area. After the race has started, you may be reassigned to a different area.
