Volunteer Opportunities

*Receive an official New Balance volunteer jacket. Transportation from Brooklyn and Manhattan provided to the START. Assist with volunteer check-in, distribute credentials, manage volunteer bag check and volunteer transportation. Great for outgoing personalities. *Receive an official New Balance volunteer jacket. Transportation provided from Brooklyn and Manhattan. Parking at South Beach and volunteer shuttle to volunteer check in. You will be volunteering in and around hospitality tents for our specialty groups. This role requires line management and crowd control, setting up and breaking down the hospitality tents, tables, chairs and picking up all of the trash in the tents. This is a +1 opportunity for the 2025 9+1 program to earn guaranteed, non-complimentary entry into the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.

Receive an official New Balance volunteer jacket. As a runner services ambassador, you will assist runners and ride with them on the Staten Island Ferry to answer any questions they may have on the way to the Start Village. This is NOT a +1 eligible volunteer opportunity.

Volunteers in this area will be assigned their volunteer role upon arrival in the village. Roles include line management, food/beverage distribution, trash collection as well as clothing collection. Village volunteers are required to stay for the entire shift and assist in the break down and clean up of the village before being dismissed by their volunteer leader. This is a +1 opportunity for the 2025 9+1 program to earn guaranteed, non-complimentary entry into the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.

The Silver Charity Village is home base for a select group of charity runners. Volunteers will be assigned their volunteer role upon arrival in the village. Roles include: crowd control, line management, food/beverage distribution, trash collection and clothing collection. Village volunteers are required to stay for their entire shift and will not be dismissed until the village has been broken down and cleaned up. This is a +1 opportunity for the 2025 9+1 program to earn guaranteed, non-complimentary entry into the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.

You will also answer any runner questions before they arrive at the Start Village. This is NOT a +1 eligible volunteer opportunity
